Wildrose Classic just a month away

This year, the Edmonton Auroras are proud to be co-hosting the event with the Strathcona Synatics. Behind the scenes, our team—including meet manager Caroline Stead and hospitality manager Jessica Chiu—has been working closely with the Synatics to plan a fantastic event.

To make it all happen, we’ll need your help! As co-hosts, we are responsible for recruiting volunteers for a variety of roles, including videographers, figure scorers, merchandise table staff, and more. While we have not implemented a minimum volunteer requirement, it is strongly encouraged that Aurora families contribute where they can. Grandparents and extended family members are also wonderful volunteers—and they get a great view of the action!

Please keep an eye out for the upcoming volunteer sign-up sheet so you can get first pick of the roles that interest you most.

As co-hosts, we’re also excited to run several fundraising initiatives, with proceeds shared between the clubs. Planned activities include:

• A 50/50 draw
• A merchandise table featuring Wild Rose gear, as well as suits from Jolyn and Tri-Hub
• A small concession with snacks and treats
• Special “synchro bears” with handmade swimsuits (generously sewn by Caroline’s mother!)

We’ll share more details soon about the bears—we’re hoping to make decorating (gemming) them a fun activity for our swimmers!

Jolyn Pre-Order Information

Tri-Hub will be onsite at the Wild Rose Classic on Saturday, April 25, 2026, selling Jolyn swimsuits, accessories, and handling pre-orders.

If you’re looking for a specific style or size, we encourage you to use the pre-order option and pick up your items at the event.

Please note that some new prints may not be available, but Tri-Hub will contact you if there are any issues with your order.

You can also browse available stock on the Tri-Hub website under the Jolyn section and select Team Delivery at checkout. Be sure to reference the event name so your order is delivered to the meet.

Lastly, we still have volunteer spots available for this Wednesday’s bingo. We encourage you to sign up if you can—participation helps reduce your fees and plays an important role in supporting our club.
