Auroras - Respectful, athlete focused and united

Mar. 17, 2021

Our club has a strong focus on sport safety and respect, and we are deeply committed to this for all of our swimmers, coaches and parents. We believe that everyone has the right to participate in a safe environment, free from abuse, harassment or discrimination.

Here are some of the ways that we do this:

- All Aurora coaches are required to take Safe Sport training through the Coaching Association of Canada, Keeping Girls in Sport, Supporting Positive Behaviours and Coaching All Abilities

- The club believes in supporting the coaches in furthering their coaching abilities through education and sport development, as well as fostering their own initiatives  to become better coaches for our swimmers.

- The club, through member, athlete and family relationships, open communication and transparency strives to create and maintain a culture of safety and support

We adhere to all policies outlined by Canada Artistic Swimming for the following:

If you have any questions about these policies or the practices we use to uphold the safety of our swimmers, please contact the Head Coach or the Auroras President.
